According to the bible which is our only source for answers, yes He did create the world only 6 days and then He rested. In scripture, we are not given any information that a day is anything different that the 24 hour day we know now so we don’t have any reason to believe otherwise.<br/>The statement that God rested on the 7th day, tells us we too should take a break from our activities and rest also.
